33:6 "If, however, the Watchman sees the enemy
coming and does not sound the alarm, the enemy will come
and kill those sinners, but I will hold the Watchman responsible for their
Every Christian is a "Watchman.
God has commanded us to in, Matthew 22: 37-40 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." This is the greatest and the most important commandment. The second most important commandment is like it: "Love your neighbor as you love yourself."
God has also commissioned us to in, Matthew 28:19 "Go, then, to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples: baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit."
Every individual born to God's creation has to make a decision to either accept or deny Christ Jesus. If you have the heart of Christ Jesus, "love God and your neighbor" and the will of Christ Jesus, "Go then to all people everywhere and make them My disciples," then you will exhibit the Heart and Will of a Watchman, "Christian."
Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at
the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come
in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me."
a. Understand that Christ Jesus is the savior you are simply telling them of the knocking.
b. It is the Holy Spirit that does the conviction and introduces the Revelation in their life.
c. Our responsibility as a Watchman, "Christian" is to sound the alarm and allow the Holy Sprit to work through us to convey the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
Romans 1:16 "For
I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it
is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first
and also to the Greek."
Don't be ashamed to share the gospel "The Good News," of Christ to everyone you come in contact with. Always be friendly and courteous and show genuine concern and interest in the lives of everyone you come in contact with while sharing the gospel.
As the world falls ever deeper into Depravity, programs
like Evangelism Explosion and Billy Graham
Evangelism have increasingly been less effective in
the revelation of Christ Jesus to the World. Both
programs rely on the premise that the non-believer will consider the
scriptures in the bible as authoritative, "The Word of God." In
addition, both programs are confrontational in the depiction of man "sinful
state" and the
revelation of Christ Jesus "God and Savior" segments of the presentation to a non-believer. Due to these
facts, both the Christian's and the non-believer's increasingly are in
conflict when Christian's present the Gospel. Because of the depravity of this world, we must first
approach the non-believer with the facts of the existence of God. A
majority of non-believers are so entangled in the
world that they can not hear God knocking on the door of their
heart. Once the non-believer establishes that God truly exists then
"the knocking on the door of their heart becomes ever louder" then the
revelation of God is accomplished. The next step in the process is
to convey the second revelation, that God wants to establish and have a relationship
with them. At this point the bible can be presented to the
non-believer as authoritative, "The Word of God." The third
revelation is to present the Gospel and have
the non-believer humble themselves to Christ Jesus as Lord of their Life.
At this moment in time the non-believer existence ends and a New Creation
in Christ Jesus is born. The fourth revelation and final step is to embedded them into
the body of Christ, "the church."
Our approach is different then all the others. Our Soft Evangelism program will prepare and develop your heart to grow in God's Grace and Knowledge, then our Non-Confrontational Evangelism Program will equip you with wisdom to reach out to the non-believer with the Gospel of Christ Jesus. Our programs are more of a life change then a strict course to memorize.
First, Humble yourself in prayer and supplication with the understanding that your commitment to follow in the foot steps of our lord will bring you at greater odds with the world.
John 15: 18-19 The World's Hatred
"If the world hates you, just remember that it has hated me first. If you belonged to the world, then the world would love you as its own. But I chose you from this world, and you do not belong to it; that is why the world hates you."
Matthew 10: 16-22
"Listen! I am sending you out just like sheep to a pack of wolves. You must be as cautious as snakes and as gentle as doves. Watch out, for there will be those who will arrest you and take you to court, and they will whip you in the synagogues. For my sake you will be brought to trial before rulers and kings, to tell the Good News to them and to the Gentiles. When they bring you to trial, do not worry about what you are going to say or how you will say it; when the time comes, you will be given what you will say. For the words you will speak will not be yours; they will come from the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. People will hand over their own brothers to be put to death, and fathers will do the same to their children; children will turn against their parents and have them put to death. Everyone will hate you because of me. But whoever holds out to the end will be saved."
